Visualization of plotlines
US-100554942018

A technology is described for providing plotline information associated with media content. An example method may include receiving a request from a customer via an interface for plotline information stored on a data store. The plotline information may be included in media content where the plotline information may include a plurality of plotlines featured in the narrative of the media content. The plotline information may then be identified in the data store, and a graphical visualization of the plotline information included in the media content may be generated, where the graphical visualization may display the plotline information as corresponding to the narrative of the media content.

A platform-agnostic thick client system for remotely combining dynamic data with a continuous quantum queue includes a first corpus of data on a server, a dynamic content transmitter to generate and transmit to the remote device a packet set that combines the second corpus with a client redirection link that causes a display window to load a second packet set and a client-side module that configures the remote device to receive the dynamic packet set at the remote device and generate a static display including a first content viewing portion displaying the dynamic packet set, with the client-redirection link modified to load in a third content display portion. System may include a continuous queue transmitter to transmit quanta to a remote device, and client-side module may configure remote device to receive quanta, and static display may include a second content viewing portion that continuously displays quanta.

A control method for an information terminal including a computer, the control method including controlling the computer to 1) detect whether information indicating a region of interest in a target medical image to be interpreted is input, 2) receive a plurality of similar medical images similar to the target medical image from a case search system, the received similar medical images including an axial image and a coronal image, and 3) display the axial image or the coronal image on a display such that the axial image is displayed when the number of regions of interest indicated by the information input to indicate region of interests is one while the coronal image is displayed when the number of regions of interest indicated by the information input to indicate region of interests is two or more or in a case where the information indicating regions of interest is not input.

PC secure video path
US-100555532018

A system and method are disclosed for creating a secure video content path, or a protected media content bus, within an unsecure personal computer. A portable security module, or electronic key safe, may be inserted into a personal computer that has different internal components for processing secure and unsecured content. The security module may establish a secure encrypted link with a secure video processor of the personal computer, and may use the personal computer's network interface to request authority to receive secured content. The security module may provide content keys to the secure video processor to access secured content received over an external network.

A technique for locating a wireless communication attack includes monitoring of Bluetooth® communications activity by a Bluetooth® capable communication device. Any monitored communication activity is analyzed against parameters that are predefined to detect a communication attempt by a suspected criminal device to an illicit device. If the communication attempt by the suspected criminal device is detected by the analysis, a communication to the criminal device is controlled so as to delay completion of the communication to the criminal device in order to provide time to locate the criminal device.

A computer-implemented method includes detecting, at a wearable computing device, a first direction of a first stare, wherein the wearable computing device includes a head-mountable display unit, identifying a target based on the detected first direction, and based on a determination that a first time duration of the first stare is greater than or equal to a first predetermined time threshold, identifying information relevant to the target and displaying the identified information on the display unit. Subsequent to displaying the identified information, the method includes detecting a second stare that is directed at the target or at the displayed information, and based on a determination that a second time duration of the second stare is greater than or equal to a second predetermined time threshold, identifying additional information relevant to the target, and displaying the additional information on the display unit.
