Embodiments of the present disclosure relate to an apparatus for operating an over-the-air (OTA) update for a vehicle including a generation device generating starting control information of the vehicle based on information about an OTA update of the vehicle and a transmission device transmitting the generated starting control information.
An integrated-circuit device comprising first and second radio systems. The first radio system comprises a first processor coupled to a first program memory and a first radio. The second radio system comprises a second processor coupled to a second program memory and a second radio. The device further comprises inter-processor communication (IPC) circuitry coupled to the first and second processors, for providing an IPC channel between the first and second processors. First software, stored in the first program memory for execution by the first processor comprises instructions for causing the first processor, in response to receiving a signal from the first radio, to send an electrical signal over the IPC channel to the second processor for causing second software stored in the second program memory to cause the second processor to send a command to the second radio.
A transaction card may monitor an amount of electric current induced in a first near-field communication (NFC) component of a transaction card. Electric current may be induced in the first NFC component when the first NFC component is within an electromagnetic field generated by a second NFC component of a transaction terminal. The transaction card may dynamically activate one or more output components associated with the transaction card based on the amount of electric current induced in the first NFC component. The one or more output components may indicate whether the transaction card can communicate with the transaction terminal. The transaction card may perform an action related to completing a transaction after determining that the amount of electric current induced in the NFC component satisfies a first threshold. The first threshold may indicate that the transaction card can communicate with the transaction terminal.
A radio frequency identification method and a reader, the reader comprises a camera, a display screen, a distance sensor, an antenna unit and a processor, the camera is configured to collect an image of a target electronic tag, and the display screen is configured to display an image of the target electronic tag, the distance sensor is configured to measure the distance d between the target electronic tag and the reader, and the antenna unit is configured to receive a radio frequency signal emitted by the target electronic tag. When the antenna unit only receives a radio frequency signal transmitted by one electronic tag, the reader reads the electronic tag; when the antenna unit receives radio frequency signals transmitted by a plurality of electronic tags, the processor filters out the target electronic tag according to the matching degree between the distance and a phase value of the radio frequency signal.
Examples of the present disclosure describe systems and methods for venue detection. In aspects, a mobile device comprising a set of sensors may collect and store sensor data from in response to a detected movement event or user interaction data. The sensor data may be used to generate a set of candidate venues corresponding to the location of the mobile device. The candidate venues may be provided to a venue detection system. The venue detection system may process the candidate venues to generate a set of features. The set of features may be applied to, and/or used to generate, one or more probabilistic models. The probabilistic models may generate confidence metrics for each of the candidate venues. In some aspects, the top ‘N’ venues may be selected from the set. The top ‘N’ venues may then be presented to the user and/or used to effect one or more actions.
A grounded operations facilities management system is disclosed that can facilitate communications in grounded operations facilities. Specifically, a method is provided for managing and supervising trucks as they park in truck spots to await freight deposits. Check-in instances reflecting, among other things, the actual truck spot a fleet vehicle is parked in can be retrieved by a client from a server or database in operable communication with the client, and upon instantiation and execution of several processes, the check-in instance can be updated and retrieved/served as needed throughout the system. The system can be managed and controlled via a geofence, such that fleet vehicle operators can only check-in to particular truck spots when located within the geofence.
The present invention relates to a PUF-based IoT device authentication technique, and more specifically, to a PUF-based IoT device using channel state information, and an authentication method thereof. According to an embodiment of the present invention, security of an authentication key may be strengthened by simultaneously utilizing a PUF-based authentication method and an RF characteristic-based authentication method.
