The invention provides novel methods for liquid-mediated delivery of pollen grains to enclosed stigmas in recipient female flowers. For example, methods for liquid-mediated pollination are provided. The methods provided include collecting pollen from a donor plant, suspending the collected pollen in a liquid solution, and introducing said solution to an enclosed stigma of a recipient flower bud on a recipient plant, thereby pollinating the flower with the pollen from the donor plant.

Non-human animals comprising a human or humanized DPP4 nucleic acid sequence are provided. Non-human animals that comprise a replacement of the endogenous Dpp4 gene with a human or humanized DPP4 gene, or non-human animals comprising a human or humanized DPP4 gene in addition to the endogenous Dpp4 gene are described. Non-human animals comprising a human or humanized DPP4 gene under control of human or non-human DPP4 regulatory elements is also provided, including non-human animals that have a replacement of non-human Dpp4-encoding sequence with human DPP4-encoding sequence at an endogenous non-human Dpp4 locus. Non-human animals comprising human or humanized DPP4 gene sequences, wherein the non-human animals are rodents, e.g., mice or rats, are provided. Methods for making and using the non-human animals are described.

The invention relates to a sensing system comprising an electrowetting device, which electrowetting device comprises an array of actuation electrodes, and a control system configures to perform droplet operations on a system of droplets present in the sensing system. The invention also relates to a method of operating the sensing system of the invention. The invention also provides novel droplet constructs which can be made and manipulated in the sensing system of the invention.

The present invention discloses a novel fructophilic lactic acid producing bacteria Bacillus coagulans strain FF-7 (MTCC 25235) and the process of isolation and characterization of the bacteria.

Disclosed herein, in certain embodiments, is a method of inhibiting or treating a cancer with use of a TNF expressing myxoma virus. Also disclosed herein are methods of inhibiting or treating a cancer with use of a mononuclear peripheral blood cells and/or a bone marrow cells treated with a TNF-expressing myxoma virus. Some aspects relate to engineered myxoma virus and pharmaceutical compositions for use with one or more of the methods described herein.

The present invention relates to polymer conjugates. More specifically, the present invention relates to polymer conjugates capable of binding to fungi, to compositions comprising these conjugates and to the use of these conjugates for detecting the presence of fungi in a sample such as, for example, a biological sample. The present invention also provides for the use of said polymer conjugates in the treatment of a fungal infection.
