Methods and apparatus are disclosed of a wireless power transmission system (WPTS) and wireless power receiver client (WPRC). The WPTS may directionally transmit wireless power to a first WPRC while concurrently directionally transmitting wireless data to at least a second WRPC. The WPTS and WPRC may reuse circuitry configured to transmit/receive wireless power to also transmit/receive wireless data.
A power source supply circuit includes: a plurality of power sources (11-1, 11-2) that generate power source voltages different from each other; a switch circuit (14) that switches and outputs the power source voltages generated in the plurality of power sources (11-1, 11-2); a voltage output terminal (16) that outputs outside the power source voltages output from the switch circuit (14); an RF choke circuit (15) provided between the switch circuit (14) and the voltage output terminal (16), the RF choke circuit (15) including a first capacitor; and a second capacitor (12-1, 12-2) provided between the plurality of power sources (11-1, 11-2) and the switch circuit (14), the second capacitor (12-1, 12-2) having a larger capacitance than the first capacitor.
A plurality of bits are received, and the plurality of bits are grouped and transcoded into a plurality of bit blocks, where the plurality of bit blocks includes a first set of bit blocks and a second set of bit blocks. A set of transcoded bit blocks is generated by transcoding the first set of bit blocks, where the set of transcoded bit blocks contains fewer bits than the first set of bit blocks. An aggregated bit block is generated at least by aggregating the set of transcoded bit blocks and the second set of bit blocks. All bits in the aggregated bit block are encoded, and the encoded bits in the aggregated bit block are modulated to generate a communication frame.
Various embodiments disclosed herein provide for a low complexity transmitter structure for active antenna arrays by reducing the number of digital predistortion extraction loops that need to be performed. Digital predistortion (DPD) corrects any non-linearities in a power amplifier. By determining which power amplifiers have similar characteristics in an array, and thus may use similar predistortion coefficients, once the DPD coefficients are determine for one of the grouped power amplifiers, DPD can be performed on each of the grouped power amplifiers based on the DPD coefficients.
Disclosed herein are techniques to enable remote discovery of connectivity capabilities and remote connection of devices in a power efficient manner. In particular, discovery and connection requests for connectivity capabilities utilizing a first radio may be communicated using a second radio, the second radio utilizing a lower amount of power relative to the first radio. For example, connectivity capabilities such as Wi-Fi, Wi-Fi Direct, WiGig, Zigbee can be discovered and connection request communicated using a Bluetooth radio.
The disclosure generally relates to a method, apparatus and system for identifying non-compliant radio emissions and for enforcing compliance. In one embodiment, the disclosure relates to a dynamic radiation control of a radio by measuring a signal attribute for an outbound signal having a protocol; comparing the signal attribute with a predefined mask, the predefined mask governed by at least one of a radio location or a signal protocol; and determining whether to transmit the outbound signal.
