Provided are methods for repeatedly transceiving a common control message for a machine-type communication (MTC) terminal in a wireless access system supporting MTC, and apparatuses supporting the methods. A method for receiving a common control message for an MTC terminal in a wireless access system supporting MTC according to one embodiment of the present invention may comprise the steps of: receiving a channel status information reference signal (CSI-RS); and receiving a common control message from a subframe in which the CSI-RS is received. Here, the common control message can be configured so as to be repeatedly transmitted from a previously configured number of subframes comprising the subframe.
A method, an apparatus, and a processor-readable storage medium for wireless communication are provided. A transmitter transmits data packets to a receiver, encodes the data packets to generate parity packets, stores the parity packets in a retransmission buffer, receives information from the receiver indicating that a data packet was not correctly decoded, and transmits to the receiver the parity packets stored in the retransmission buffer for recovering the data packet not correctly decoded without retransmitting the data packet not correctly decoded. The transmitter may further retransmit to the receiver the parity packets. The transmitted data packets may be encoded at a medium access control (MAC) layer of the transmitter. The retransmission buffer may be located at a radio link control (RLC) layer or a packet data convergence protocol (PDCP) layer of the transmitter. A reordering buffer at the receiver may be located at the RLC layer or PDCP layer.
A method for channel encoding in a communication or broadcasting system is provided. The method includes determining a block size Z, and performing encoding based on the block size and a first matrix corresponding to the block size, wherein the first matrix is determined based on information and a plurality of second matrices, and wherein a part of a column index indicating a position of a non-zero element in each row of the information includes an index according to mathematical expression 22 above.
Methods and apparatus are provided for a base station to transmit and for a User Equipment (UE) to receive repetitions of an enhanced physical downlink control channel (EPDCCH). Time and frequency resources for EPDCCH repetitions are defined together with restrictions in time resources to provide UE power savings. Time and frequency resources are also defined for repetitions of a physical downlink shared channel (PDSCH) transmission and for repetitions of a physical uplink shared channel (PUSCH) transmission. Methods and apparatus are also provided for the UE to transmit and for the base station to receive acknowledgement information in repetitions of a physical uplink shared channel (PUCCH).
A method for a terminal transmitting a hybrid automatic repeat request (HARQ) ACK/NACK feedback by using a terminal-specific TDD frame in a wireless communication system may comprise the steps of: receiving a downlink control channel from a corresponding subframe of the terminal-specific TDD frame; and transmitting a HARQ ACK/NACK for the downlink control channel from an uplink subframe that is the most adjacent to the corresponding subframe among subframes coming after at least four subframes from the corresponding subframe.
