System, method, and apparatus for providing route guidance to a customer in a shopping facility space are provided. A system for providing route guidance comprises a communication device configured to communicate with a user interface device, a store map database storing location information for a plurality of items available for purchase in the retail space, and a control circuit coupled to the communication device and the store map database. The control circuit is configured to receive a list of items for purchase from a user associated with the user interface device via the communication device, retrieve location information associated with each item of the list of items for purchase from the store map database, determine a route based on at least one user entered route preference and the location information associated with each item of the list of items for purchase, and provide the route to the user interface device.

Spatial-temporal compression of sensing data from a plurality of sensors involves using a plurality of sensors to obtain measured physical data associated with a plurality of sensed elements. At each of a plurality of sampling times a set of N sampled data is acquired from the N sensed elements corresponding to the measured physical data. The sets of sampled data are analyzed to obtain statistical characteristic information. Thereafter, one or more frames of compressed data is generated using the statistical characteristic information to facilitate temporal and spatial data compression.

Oilfield management includes obtaining a binary variable array describing configurable elements of an oilfield design, partitioning the binary variable array into subgroups, and applying a transformation function to each subgroup to obtain an integer variable for each subgroup. An optimization problem is solved on the binary variable array by treating the integer variable as a continuous variable to obtain a solution, and the transformation function of each subgroup is applied to the solution to obtain a design pattern. The load management controller is configured to repeatedly perform a first test wherein a time rate of change of temperature of building regions is determined, repeatedly perform a second test wherein a lighting controller is operated to rank a plurality of lighting loads according to ambient light of building regions associated with the plurality of lighting loads, assign the plurality of HVACR loads and lighting loads to a plurality of load shed groups, and reduce power consumption by the plurality of HVACR loads and the plurality of lighting loads in order of the ranked load shed groups effective to minimize occupant perceptibility of the power consumption reduction while implementing the operator specified priority criteria.
