Methods, systems, and devices, including computer programs encoded on computer storage media, for generating information identification codes are provided. One of the methods includes: requesting a user's code generation seed from a code identifying party; receiving a first code generation seed from the code identifying party; and synchronizing the first code generation seed to a client of the user, for the user to generate an information identification code.

Methods and systems for providing an asset communication system are described. One asset communication system includes an active communication subsystem including a first radio transceiver, a passive communication subsystem including a second radio transceiver configured to transmit and receive data using radio waves for communication and power, and a sensory subsystem. The sensory subsystem can include one or more sensors, for example, an ambient environment sensor. The asset communication system further includes a synchronous trigger controller for activing the active communication subsystem according to a schedule, and an asynchronous trigger controller for activating the active communication subsystem based on a signal received from a sensor or the second radio transceiver.

The recommendation engine can select a next data packet that can include content for delivery to a user device. The system can include a presentation system including a presenter module. The system can include a response system including a response processor. The response processor can receive a response from the user device, and the response processor can determine whether the received response is a desired response. A method for providing ticket information is provided. The method includes: receiving a notification; determining whether the notification includes the ticket information; and if the notification includes the ticket information, providing the ticket information in a multimedia message.

A system manages physical interactions between users. The system analyzes wireless signals transmitted by a plurality of user devices within a physical area to identify one or more first users within proximity of a second user in the physical area. Actions of the second user are monitored to determine a level of concentration of the second user in performing a task. A probability of a physical interaction of the one or more first users with the second user causing loss of focus by the second user is determined, and physical interactions of the one or more first users with the second user are managed based on the determined probability to maintain focus of the second user on the task. Embodiments of the present invention further include a method and computer program product for managing physical interactions between users in substantially the same manner described above.

In some examples, a service provider may receive an indicated delivery location from a buyer device. The service provider may determine, e.g., based in part on traffic information, respective predicted courier travel times to the delivery location from one or more different merchant locations. The service provider may compare the respective predicted courier travel times with respective spoilage times for items offered by the corresponding one or more merchants, and may identify one or more items having respective spoilage times greater than the respective predicted courier travel time from that merchant location. The service provider may send, to the buyer device, information about items available for delivery from particular merchants having respective spoilage times greater than the predicted courier travel time from respective the merchant location. The buyer device may present the information about the items on a display to enable buyer selection of an item for delivery.

A method for controlling access to a facility including: sending a first signal from a handset to a plurality of beacon modules using a low energy wireless technology, the signal comprising an identification of the handset or a user; determining received signal strength indication from each of the plurality of beacon modules and determining a time averaged received signal strength indication from each of the plurality of beacon modules. The method also includes determining the location of the handset based on the pattern of the received time-averaged signal strength indications from the plurality of beacon modules, sending a second signal from the beacon modules to an authentication server, the second signal comprising (i) the identification of the handset or a user and (ii) the time-averages received signal strength indication or individual received signal strength indication from each of the plurality of beacon modules and determining at the authentication server the nearest user or handset to an access controlled gate of the facility if a signal from more than one handset is received. The method also includes determining if the handset or user is authorized to enter the facility and opening a gate to allow access to the facility if the handset or user is authorized.
