The invention relates to a method for controlling the use of a data stream transmitted during a communication established between at least a transmitting device and a destination terminal. During a phase for negotiation of the parameters of the data stream of the communication, the method comprises a step of determining at least one rule for the use of the data stream of the communication and a step of inserting the at least one determined use rule into a message for negotiation of the parameters of the data stream of the communication, said message being intended to be transmitted to the destination terminal. The invention also relates to a corresponding device using said method.

A service method in an IoT environment may include: displaying a message to another instance using a feeder interface among interfaces included in an instance of a virtualization object about a thing; receiving a message displayed from a feeder interface of the other instance or the thing using a subscriber interface among the interfaces; transferring a message to the other instance or the thing using a controller interface among the interfaces; receiving a message transferred from a controller interface of the other instance using a receiver interface among the interfaces; and interacting with a 3rd party service using an authentication interface among the interfaces.

In one or more aspects, a system includes an upload component configured to upload content to a content server, a share component configured to receive selection of a sharing source to post a notification that informs users regarding availability of the content at the content server, a confirmation component configured to receive confirmation from the content server in response to the content becoming available at the content server following the upload of the content, and a notification component configured to post the notification at the sharing source in response to receipt of the confirmation.

The method for pushing an application program includes: receiving a connection request for establishing a connection to a wireless network device that is sent by a terminal; sending a specified webpage address to the terminal, and the terminal acquires a system type of the terminal according to webpage content corresponding to the received specified webpage address and sends the system type to the wireless network device; receiving the system type sent by the terminal; and sending, to the terminal, a push address that is provided for the terminal to download an application program and is corresponding to the system type.

The disclosure relates to a portable computing device configured to selectably switch between a wired zero client mode in which the portable computing device operates as a terminal for a host computer via a wired communication channel, a wireless zero client mode in which the portable computing device operates as a terminal for the host computer via a wireless communication channel, and a local mode in which the portable computing device operates independently from the host computer. The portable computing device may include one or more zero client processors that facilitate operation in the wired or wireless zero client mode and one or more local control processors that facilitate operation in the local mode. A distribution server for geographically targeted message distribution to a client is used for providing an application service, in particular a vehicular traffic related application service, such as a Cooperative Intelligent Transport System (C-ITS) service.
