A charging support device is used in charging a battery of a vehicle having a power reception unit on a bottom surface of the vehicle with power supplied from a power transmission device located outside the vehicle. The charging support device includes a controller that generates an overhead image that displays a vehicle image of the vehicle and an image of a surrounding area of the vehicle captured by a camera. The controller calculates a position of the power transmission device based on an image captured by the camera before the power transmission device becomes at least partially hidden under the vehicle, and displays, in the generated overhead image, the power transmission device overlaid on the vehicle image at the calculated position of the power transmission device once the power transmission device starts becoming hidden under the vehicle.
Disclosed herein are embodiments for adjusting playback volume in a media playback system that utilizes a maximum volume feature. In one embodiment, when a playback device receives an instruction to change its playback volume to a requested volume level, the playback device will not necessarily set its playback volume state variable to the requested volume level, but rather will calculate a new (typically lower) alternate volume level based on the maximum volume state variable and instead set its playback volume state variable to that alternate volume level. Moreover, when a playback device shares certain of its state variables among the other devices of the media playback system, the playback device will not necessarily share its actual playback volume state variable, but rather will calculate a new (typically higher) representative volume level and instead share that representative volume level.
An apparatus, method and program for receiving a coded light signal comprising a periodically repeating message repeating with a message period. A portion of the message is received in each of a plurality of frames captured by a rolling-shutter camera, with different portions being received in different frames. Using each of a discrete group of trial values of the message period, the respective trial value is used to reconstruct a respective first version of the message from the portions received in a first subset of said frames, and to reconstruct a respective second version of the message from the portions received in a second subset of said frames. For each of the trial values, there is generate a respective value of a measure of similarity between the respective reconstructed first and second versions of the message. An estimate of the message period is determined based on this.
A networked system is provided for transporting digital media packets, such as audio and video. The network includes network devices interconnected to send and receive packets. Each network device can receive and transmit media signals from media devices. A master clock generates a system time signal that the network devices use, together with a network time protocol to generate a local clock signal synchronized to the system time signal for both rate and offset. The local clock signal governs both the rate and offset of the received or transmitted media signals. The system, which can be implemented using conventional network equipment enables media signals to be transported to meet quality and timing requirements for high quality audio and video reproduction.

Groups of fragments may be combined to generate a unique stream by pulling fragments from two or more of the groups of fragments. Further, fragmenting may be performed before watermarking, and fragments may be pulled and watermarked upon request.
