The virtual guidance apparatus includes a guidance control unit, one or more camera devices mounted on the associated work vehicle and operable to obtain an image of a loader of the associated work vehicle, and a display unit operatively coupled with the guidance control unit and displaying on a screen of the display unit that is viewable from an operator's seat of the associated work vehicle visual aids for guiding the operator in operating the loader to position a boom relative to level ground, to position a tool carrier on an end of the boom, to show a preview of a path of the tool carrier and of tools attached with the tool carrier, and to assist in positioning the workpiece load to be manipulated.
A camera mirror system for a vehicle includes a camera having a field of view. The camera has a lens that is configured to focus light on an image capture unit and a filter switch that are each arranged in an optical path provided between the lens and the image capture unit. The filter switch has an infrared (IR) filter that is movable into and out of the optical path in response to a IR filter command A display is in communication with the camera and is configured to display the field of view. An IR light-emitting diode (LED) is configured to illuminate the field of view in response to an IR LED command. A controller is in communication with the image capture unit, the filter switch and the IR LED. The controller is configured to provide the IR filter command and the IR LED command in response to a limited-use night vision condition based upon a factor other than an amount of atmospheric light.
An assembly set for assembling an external rearview system for a motor vehicle is provided. The external rearview system when assembled may include a base assembly provided for arrangement on the motor vehicle, and a head assembly attached to the base assembly. The assembly set may include (i) a first head assembly comprising, a first rearview device comprising at least one reflective element in form of a mirror glass, (ii) a second head assembly comprising, a second rearview device comprising at least one reflective element in form of an at least partly translucent mirror glass, and at least one first camera unit being configured to obtain a rearview image through the reflective element, and (iii) a third head assembly with at least one component of a camera monitor system. The head assembly may be configured to be detachable and is selected to be the first, second or third head assembly, with the first, second and third head assembly being exchangeable with each other.
A parking assistance device includes: a sensor-information processing circuit that detects an empty parking space around a host vehicle; a surrounding-image generation circuit that generates a surrounding image that is a view of surroundings of the host vehicle from above; an image display circuit that displays a first assistance image at a position of the empty parking space in the surrounding image, the first assistance image indicating the empty parking space; and a stop determination circuit that determines whether the host vehicle has stopped. In a case where it is determined by the stop determination circuit that the host vehicle has stopped, the image display circuit displays the first assistance image.

The method includes detecting a forward vehicle, requesting vehicle-to-vehicle communication with the forward vehicle, receiving image data and ultrasound data of the forward vehicle, analyzing information about a moving object in a blind spot formed by the forward vehicle, based on the image data and the ultrasound data, calculating a possibility of collision with the moving object based on the information about the moving object, and performing one or both of warning notification and collision avoidance control based on the possibility of collision.
A medium feeding apparatus includes a medium mounting section forming a mounting face for mounting a medium thereon, a feeding roller configured to feed a lowermost medium among mediums mounted on the medium mounting section in a feeding direction, and a movement detection unit configured to output information related to movement of the medium in a direction along the mounting face, wherein based on detection information detected by a medium height detection unit that outputs information related to a height of the medium mounted on the mounting section from the mounting face in abnormality detection processing, when the height is less than a first threshold value, a control unit continues feeding the medium regardless of detection information detected by the movement detection unit or without obtaining detection information detected by the movement detection unit.
