A peeling type laser tooth preparing method, apparatus and device, and a medium. Method comprises: acquiring a first STL model of a target tooth and a second STL model of a tooth preparation of the target tooth; generating a conical peeling curved-surface STL model, in a manner of taking a three-dimensional curve of a peripheral edge contour of a shoulder in the second STL model as a bottom edge; carrying out Boolean calculation on the peeling curved-surface STL model and the first STL model to obtain a third STL model; carrying out Boolean calculation on the second STL model and the third STL model to obtain a fourth STL model required to be removed; generating a multilayer laser cutting path according to the fourth STL model, controlling a laser tooth preparing device to perform the tooth preparing process of the target tooth according to the multilayer laser cutting path.
A support is coupled to an appliance to decrease warpage. The support may comprise a plurality of extensions coupled to the appliance to decrease warpage. The extensions can be coupled to the appliance at one or more of many locations, such as on an occlusal surface, a wall, an edge or an interior of the appliance. In some embodiments, the extensions are coupled to walls of the appliance such as a buccal wall and a lingual wall, and the extensions can be coupled to the walls of the appliance near edges of the walls, such as a gingivally facing edges of the walls that are oriented toward the gingiva when the appliance is worn.
Provided herein are crosslinked polymers useful in orthodontic appliances and light polymerizable liquid compositions and formulations useful for making crosslinked polymers. Also provided are methods of making an orthodontic appliance comprising a cross-linked polymer formed by a direct fabrication technique.
Method for manufacturing a dental expander having a first attachment member intended to be fixed to a first fixation tooth of a patient and an active member rigidly connected to the first attachment member. The method includes: a) generating a three-dimensional digital model of a dental arch having the fixation tooth or “arch model”; b) using the arch model as a basis for generating: a three-dimensional digital model of the first attachment member, wherein the model of the first attachment member that has an inner surface that substantially reproduces a part of the surface of the first fixation tooth, and/or a three-dimensional digital model of the active member; and c) using the model of the first attachment member as a basis for manufacturing the first attachment member and/or using the model of the active member as a basis for generating the active member.
