A display control device includes an operation-display unit and a controller. The operation-display unit hierarchically displays multiple functions using multiple screens and accepts an operation performed through an approach or touch of an object. The controller performs control so that, when the object approaches a function displayed on an original screen, a next screen associated with the function selected as a result of the approach of the object is temporarily displayed using a display mode corresponding to a relationship between the original screen and the next screen.
Systems and methods are provided for automatically controlling a physical device. A tracking system monitors the locations of multiple physical objects, and their respective locations are updated in a virtual environment. Within the virtual environment, a first virtual object, corresponding to a first physical object, is paired with a dynamic zone that remains constant in shape and moves with the first virtual object. When a second virtual object, corresponding to a second physical object, enters the dynamic zone, then the physical device is triggered to act. For example, the physical device is a media projector or light that shines onto the current position of the dynamic zone, or the physical device is a robotic camera that points to the dynamic zone.
In one example of the disclosure, a set of electronic document templates is accessed and instances of duplicated document content are identified. Display of a user notice for first duplicated document content is caused. Responsive to receipt of data indicative of a user instruction to create a component template for the first duplicated content, the component template is created and stored.
A job programming method includes using a processor to assemble a printable file based on more than two reference pages and print instructions; including printer readable instructions in the printable file to print more than one copy of a reference page; grouping a first set of reference pages into a first group based on a first plurality of print instructions to assemble a first part of the printable file; grouping a second set of reference pages into a second group based on a second plurality of print instructions to assemble a second part of the printable file; including printer readable instructions in the printable file to direct printed pages corresponding to the printer readable instructions to print more than one copy of the reference page to a common stack, and to direct printed pages corresponding to the first and second parts of the printable file to the common stack.
