An extended base of a mobile terminal and a power supply management method for the extended base is described herein. When a mobile terminal is inserted into an extended base, an enable circuit of the extended base is electrically connected to the mobile terminal and generates an enable signal, and a switch circuit outputs a voltage under control of the enable signal, so that a power supply of the extended base supplies power under control of the voltage. When the mobile terminal is removed from the extended base, the enable circuit stops generating the enable signal, and the switch circuit stops outputting the voltage, so that the power supply cannot supply power under the control of the voltage.

Improved fixed receiver devices including both transmit and receive circuitry and operating on battery power are disclosed. An example transmitter/receiver location device includes a network interface to enable transmission and receipt of messages via a first communication medium and transmission and receipt of messages via a second communication medium. The example device includes a battery to provide power to the device, the battery to have a battery level and to be chargeable. The example device includes a memory to store instructions and data. The example device includes a processor to at least: process a beacon message received via the network interface; generate an information message for a location server based on location information from the beacon message and status information based on the battery level for the device; and adjust an operating state of the device based on the battery level.

A content display apparatus includes a plurality of communication antennas arranged on the same side as the display portion, a non-contact communication portion which performs non-contact communication with an information terminal apparatus by using each of the plurality of communication antennas, a content display control portion which displays a content on the display portion; and a communication antenna control portion which performs control to validate one communication antenna of the plurality of communication antennas based on a display position of the content displayed by the content display control portion, in which the information terminal apparatus performs non-contact communication with the validated communication antenna and obtains additional information of the displayed content.

A data transmission system is disclosed, which transmits data via a touch panel capable of detecting vibrations, the system having: a portable apparatus including a vibration conversion unit configured to convert arbitrary data into a vibration signal, and a vibration generation unit configured to generate vibrations corresponding to a pattern of the vibration signal; and a touch panel apparatus including a resistive film-type touch panel configured to input the vibrations upon receiving a contact of the portable apparatus, a signal conversion unit configured to convert, into a detection signal, a voltage level detected corresponding to a contact and a non-contact between resistive films of the resistive film-type touch panel based on the inputted vibrations, and a data detection unit configured to detect the data based on a pattern of the detection signal.

Disclosed are a mobile terminal and a control method thereof. The mobile terminal includes: a display unit configured to output a web page received from an arbitrary web server; a generation unit configured to extract one or more links included in the web page, and to generate a link tree composed of nodes having path information corresponding to the extracted links; a controller configured to select a predetermined range of nodes based on a node corresponding to the output web page, among the nodes included in the link tree, and to simultaneously capture web pages corresponding to the selected nodes with the output web page, if a preset input is detected after the web page has been output; and a storage unit configured to store images of the captured web pages in a single group. With such a configuration, a web page currently-output to the display unit may be captured to be stored simultaneously with an upper page and/or a sub page related to the currently-output web page.
