Radio base station, having a first radio module for radio communication with first radio communication devices, and a connection for connecting an ESL radio module for radio communication with electronic display panels, wherein the radio base station has a first, in particular software-based, control stage for controlling the radio communication of the first radio module according to a first communication protocol, and a second, in particular software-based, control stage for controlling the radio communication of the ESL radio module connectable to the connection according to a second communication protocol, and a, in particular software-based, third control stage for predictively changing a time sequence, defined for a future period, of radio activities of the first radio module on the basis of radio activities of the ESL radio module that are defined for said future period.
A user can scan a QR code on a kiosk with her mobile device. Scanning the QR code will cause the mobile device to display an interface displayed on the kiosk. When a user enters information on the device corresponding information is displayed on the kiosk. In this way, a user can engage with the kiosk interface in a contactless manner.
Disclosed herein are system, apparatus, article of manufacture, method and/or computer program product embodiments, and/or combinations and sub-combinations thereof, for a voice control device including a microphone, a mute control, and a push-to-talk (PTT) control. An example embodiment operates by: entering a mute state from an always-listening state when the device receives a mute control signal; entering a PTT state from the mute state when the device is in the mute state and receives a first PTT control signal; activating the microphone when the device is in the PTT state; and entering the mute state from the PTT state when the device is in the PTT state and receives a second PTT control signal.
A power transmitting apparatus (100) performs foreign object detection processing based on data obtained by transmitting power to a plurality of power receiving apparatuses (204, 205) using a plurality of power transmission units.
A sensor in a building HVAC system includes a transducer configured to measure a variable in the building HVAC system and to generate a sensor reading indicating a value of the measured variable. The sensor includes a communications interface configured to provide the sensor reading to a control device in the building HVAC system and a near field communication (NFC) circuit separate from the communications interface. The NFC circuit is configured to facilitate bidirectional NFC data communications between the sensor and a mobile device. The sensor includes a processing circuit having a processor and memory. The processing circuit is configured to wirelessly transmit data stored in the memory of the sensor to the mobile device via the NFC circuit, wirelessly receive data from the mobile device via the NFC circuit, and store the data received from the mobile device in the memory of the sensor.
An example system includes a mobile system having an Ethernet based network and a controller area network (CAN) based network; a CAN control device disposed onboard the mobile system, connected to the CAN based network, and structured to control operation of a component of the mobile system; an Ethernet control device disposed onboard the mobile system, connected to the Ethernet based network, and structured to electrically communicate with the CAN control device; an Ethernet switch disposed onboard the mobile system and having a plurality of physical ports connected to the Ethernet based network; a CAN gateway disposed onboard the mobile system and connected to the CAN based network and the Ethernet switch; and a network convergence circuit defined at least in part by the Ethernet switch and/or the CAN gateway, and structured to facilitate electronic communications between the Ethernet control device and the CAN control device.
