A method and wireless communication device use a first processing unit to perform a first communication event within a first communication window by use of a first communication protocol, a second processing unit to perform a second communication event within a second communication window by use of a second communication protocol, and a wireless communication unit connected to a radio-frequency antenna to transmit and/or receive a packet wirelessly. The first and second processing units may perform the first and second communication events via the wireless communication unit. The second processing unit or the wireless communication unit may transmit an event signal to the first processing unit when performing the second communication event or receiving a packet, respectively, to allow the first processing unit to arrange the first communication window (or first communication event) with respect to the second communication window (or second communication event) to minimize interference.

Techniques for efficient messaging client communication are described. In one embodiment, an apparatus may comprise a client front-end component of a messaging server operative to receive a protocol connect packet from a messaging client, the protocol connect packet initiating a client authentication process with the messaging client; and receive a message package from the messaging client, the message package received during the client authentication process; a client authentication component operative to perform the client authentication process with the messaging client; and a client message queueing component operative to queue the message package in an authorization-holding message queue in response to the message package being received during the client authentication process. A system and method for message analysis, including: receiving, from a client device, a reporting request identifying a first broadcasted message authored by a context account of a messaging platform; identifying, by a computer processor, engagement data corresponding to engagement with the first broadcasted message by a set of engaging accounts of the messaging platform that engaged with the first broadcasted message; generating, using the engagement data and by the computer processor, propagation data representing propagation of the first broadcasted message in a connection graph of the messaging platform; and providing the propagation data for the client device in response to the reporting request, where the client device is operable to display a visual representation of the propagation data.

Various aspects of a system and method for controlling client electronic devices in a wireless local ad hoc network are disclosed. The system includes one or more circuits in a server configured to receive a plurality of speaking-slot requests from a plurality of client electronic devices for a presented content. A client electronic device is selected based on an acceptance of a corresponding speaking-slot request. The acceptance of the corresponding speaking-slot request is based on at least an analysis of the one or more image frames of a user associated with the client electronic device and a context of the presented content. At least an audio stream provided by the user is received from the selected client electronic device. The selected client electronic device is controlled based on one or more parameters associated with at least the selected client electronic device.
