A method of displaying content information in a user terminal, the method comprising: receiving, by the user terminal, a content file list including items corresponding to information on content files; receiving, by the user terminal, additional information having a same property from among additional information on each of the content files included in the content file list; generating a graphical object representing a degree of the property in response to comparing the received additional information on each content file with additional information on another content file; and combining a screen which displays the received content file list including the content files and a screen which displays the generated graphical object representing the degree of the property on each of content files included in the content file list, and displaying a content information display screen which displays the graphical object on the content file list on a display of the user terminal to represent the degree of the property on each of content files included in the content file list, wherein the content file list is overlaid with the graphical object, wherein the receiving the additional information comprises receiving additional information on each property from each of content files having a plurality of properties, and wherein the generating the graphical object comprises dividing graphical objects of each of the content files into sections of a number of the plurality of properties, comparing additional information on each content file with additional information on another content file using the additional information on each content file having the same property, and generating and displaying a graphical object representing the degree of the property in each section.
A method for displaying content information on a user terminal involves receiving a list of content files. The method also involves receiving additional information about each content file, focusing on a specific property that is the same across all files (e.g., popularity). A graphical object (like a bar or icon) is generated to represent the degree of that property for each file by comparing it to the property values of other files. The content file list and the generated graphical objects are combined on a screen, visually representing the property's degree for each content file directly on the file list. It combines the graphical object with the content file list directly within the text file. So, the graphical object and file list are shown combined in the text file.
3. The method of claim 2 , further comprising receiving, by the user terminal, a selected property of the additional information, wherein the receiving the additional information comprises receiving additional information having the selected property.

This further involves receiving a user-selected property (e.g., "download count") for display. The system then receives only the additional information related to that specific, selected property for each content file when generating the graphical representation.
4. The method of claim 2 , wherein the displaying the graphical object on the content file list comprises outputting a type of the property of the additional information generated as the graphical object.
The method of displaying content information, where the graphical object and file list are combined within the text file, also outputs the *type* of the displayed property (e.g., displaying "Downloads" or "Views" alongside the graphical bar representing download count or view count).

The method of claim 2 , wherein the graphical object comprises a bar graph, a belt graph, or a picture graph, and wherein the generating of the graphical object further comprises displaying a degree of the property using at least two of a length, a size, a color, a transparency, a brightness, and a color depth of the graphical object.
The method of displaying content information, where the graphical object and file list are combined within the text file, where the graphical object can be a bar graph, belt graph, or a picture graph, displays the degree of the property using at least two visual cues such as length, size, color, transparency, brightness, or color depth of the graphical representation. For example, a longer bar and a brighter color could both indicate higher download count.
6. The method of claim 5 , wherein the transparency, the color or the size of the graphical object is used to identify the content file list.
The method of displaying content information, where the graphical object is a bar graph, a belt graph, or a picture graph, and the degree of the property is displayed using at least two of a length, a size, a color, a transparency, a brightness, and a color depth of the graphical object uses a transparency, color or the size of the graphical object is used to visually identify the content file list itself, making it easier to distinguish the file entries. For instance, making the entire file list slightly transparent, highlighting it with a distinct color, or adjusting its size.
7. The method of claim 1 , wherein the receiving of the additional information comprises extracting the additional information from metadata on the content file.
The method of displaying content information involves extracting additional information, the additional information about the content files, such as download count, view count, etc., is retrieved from the content file's metadata (e.g., ID3 tags for music files or EXIF data for images).
8. The method of claim 1 , wherein the additional information comprises at least one of the downloading number of a corresponding content file, the reproduction number and the preview number.
The method of displaying content information involves displaying specific types of additional information for each file, including the download count, the number of times the file has been played/viewed (reproduction number), and the number of times the file has been previewed.
9. A user terminal for displaying content information, the user terminal comprising: a content information display unit which compares additional information on each of content files included in a content file list including items corresponding to information on content files with additional information on another content file using the additional information having a same property of each content file, generates a graphical object representing a degree of the property, combines a screen which displays the content file list including the content files and a screen which displays the generated graphical object representing the degree of the property on each of content files included in the content file list, and displays a content information display screen which displays the graphical object on the content file list to represent the degree of the property on each of content files included in the content file list; a controller which controls the user terminal to display content information; a memory unit which stores the content file list and the additional information on each content file; and a user interface which transfers a request to the user terminal, wherein the content file list is overlaid with the graphical object, wherein the additional information receiving unit receives additional information on each property from each of content files having a plurality of properties, and wherein the graph generating unit divides graphical objects of each of the content files into sections of a number of the plurality of properties, compares additional information on each content file with additional information on another content file using the additional information on each content file having the same property, and generates and displays a graphical object representing the degree of the property in each section.
A user terminal for displaying content information includes a content information display unit, a controller, a memory unit, and a user interface. The content information display unit compares a content file's properties with another content file. It generates a graphical object representing a degree of that property. Then, the screen displaying the content file list and the screen displaying the graphical object are combined so the graphical object is overlaid onto the content file list. The controller manages the overall operation. The memory stores the file list and property information. The user interface allows the user to make requests to the terminal. When each content file has multiple properties, the graphical object is divided into sections, each representing a different property's degree.
10. The user terminal of claim 9 , wherein the content information display unit comprises: a content file list extracting unit which receives a content file list; an additional information extracting unit which receives additional information having the same property among additional information on each of content files included in the content file list; a graph generating unit which generates a graphical object representing the degree of the property by comparing the received additional information on each content file with additional information on another content file; a display information combining unit which combines the graphical object and the content file list; and an outputting unit which displays the graphical object and the content file list.
The user terminal of claim 9, including a content information display unit, comprises: a content file list extracting unit which receives a content file list; an additional information extracting unit which receives additional information having the same property among additional information on each of content files included in the content file list; a graph generating unit which generates a graphical object representing the degree of the property by comparing the received additional information on each content file with additional information on another content file; a display information combining unit which combines the graphical object and the content file list; and an outputting unit which displays the graphical object and the content file list.
11. The user terminal of claim 10 , wherein the content file list is a text file, and wherein the output unit displays the graphical object by combining the graphical object and the content file list in the form of the text file.
The user terminal having a content file list extracting unit, an additional information extracting unit, a graph generating unit, a display information combining unit, and an outputting unit, where the content file list is a text file, outputs the graphical object by merging it with the content file list in text file format.
12. The user terminal of claim 10 , wherein the controller receives a selected property of the additional information through the user interface, and wherein the additional information receiving unit receives additional information having the selected property.
The user terminal having a content file list extracting unit, an additional information extracting unit, a graph generating unit, a display information combining unit, and an outputting unit, where the controller receives a selected property (e.g., "rating") through the user interface, and the system then retrieves only the information related to that specific selected property for display.
13. The user terminal of claim 10 , wherein the output unit outputs a type of the property of the additional information generated as the graphical object.
The user terminal having a content file list extracting unit, an additional information extracting unit, a graph generating unit, a display information combining unit, and an outputting unit also includes the feature where the output shows what the type of displayed property is (e.g. "Downloads," "Views").
14. The user terminal of claim 10 , wherein the additional information receiving unit extracts the additional information from metadata on the content file.
The user terminal having a content file list extracting unit, an additional information extracting unit, a graph generating unit, a display information combining unit, and an outputting unit pulls content file's information from the file's metadata (e.g. retrieving view counts or ratings from embedded file tags).
15. The user terminal of claim 10 , wherein the graphical object comprises a bar graph, a belt graph, or a picture graph, and wherein the graph generating unit displays a degree of the property using at least two of a length, a size, a color, a transparency, a brightness, and a color depth of the graphical object.
The user terminal having a content file list extracting unit, an additional information extracting unit, a graph generating unit, a display information combining unit, and an outputting unit, the graphical representation may comprise a bar chart, belt chart, or picture graph and displays the property's level using visual properties like bar length, icon size, color, transparency, brightness, or color depth.
16. The user terminal of claim 15 , wherein a transparency, a color or a size of the graphical object is used to identify the content file list.
The user terminal having a content file list extracting unit, an additional information extracting unit, a graph generating unit, a display information combining unit, and an outputting unit and having a transparency, a color or a size to display the property's level where the transparency, color, or size of the graphical indicator is also used to highlight the content file list.
