The computer program product determines geographical coordinates of the location and calculates a URL and the default HTML using the geographical coordinates, in response to determining that the wireless network at the location is not available and in response to determining that the default HTML is not available. The computer program product displays one or more pages created by the default HTML that is calculated. The computer program product displays the one or more pages created by the default HTML that is available, in response to determining that the default HTML is available.

A computer program product for accessing location-based information on a mobile device, the computer program product comprising a non-transitory computer readable storage medium having program code embodied therewith, the program code executable to: identify, by a processor on the mobile device, a location of the mobile device; determine, by the processor, whether a wireless network at the location is available, the wireless network accessible by the mobile device; determine, by the processor, whether a default HTML including information of the location is available, in response to determining that the wireless network at the location is available; determine, by the processor, geographical coordinates of the location, and calculate, by the processor, a URL and the default HTML using the geographical coordinates, in response to determining that the wireless network at the location is not available and in response to determining that the default HTML is not available; display, by the processor, one or more pages created by the default HTML that is calculated; and in response to determining that the default HTML is available, display, by the processor, the one or more pages created by the default HTML that is available.
A mobile app accesses location-based information by first identifying the device's location using its processor. If a Wi-Fi network is available, the app checks for a pre-existing default HTML file containing location information. If Wi-Fi is unavailable and a default HTML file isn't found, the app determines the location's geographical coordinates, calculates a URL and generates a default HTML file based on these coordinates. Finally, the app displays one or more pages created from either the pre-existing or newly calculated default HTML file, ensuring location-based information is always presented, regardless of network connectivity.
