Variety denomination: ‘KLECN23085’.

This patent application claims the benefit of priority from Community Plant Breeders Rights Application No. 2023/2100 as filed on Oct. 5, 2023, the contents of which are incorporated herein by reference for all it teaches and discloses.

The present invention comprises a new and distinct variety of, botanically known asSchult. xDegen, and hereinafter referred to by the variety name ‘KLECN23085’. ‘KLECN23085’ originated from an open cross-pollination in June 2019 in Stuttgart, Germany between an unnamed femalevariety (unpatented) and an unnamed malevariety (unpatented).

The seeds from the cross were collected and sown in Stuttgart, Germany in the summer of 2020 and the plants were grown for evaluation. An individual plant designated ‘KLECN23085’ was selected in the autumn 2020 in Stuttgart, Germany. In the autumn 2020 ‘KLECN23085’ was first vegetatively propagated by vegetative terminal cuttings in Stuttgart, Germany. ‘KLECN23085’ was found to reproduce true to type in successive generations of asexual propagation via vegetative cuttings.

The following are the most outstanding and distinguishing characteristics of this new variety when grown under normal horticultural practices in Stuttgart, Germany.

The following detailed descriptions set forth the distinctive characteristics of ‘KLECN23085’. The data which define these characteristics were collected in Stuttgart Germany in summer 2023 on 13 to 15 week old plants. References are to The R.H.S. Colour Chart of The Royal Horticultural Society of London (R.H.S.), 5edition (2007).

‘KLECN23085’ is most similar to the commercialvariety Campala® ‘Nina’ (not patented). Differences between the varieties are described in Table 2.
