Variety denomination: ‘KLECN23088’.

The present invention comprises a new and distinct variety of, botanically known asSchult. xDegen and hereinafter referred to by the variety name ‘KLECN23088’. ‘KLECN23088’ originated from an open cross-pollination in June 2020 in Stuttgart, Germany between a proprietary unnamed female(unpatented) and a proprietary unnamed male(unpatented).

The seeds from the cross were collected and sown in Stuttgart, Germany in the summer of 2020 and the plants were grown for evaluation. An individual plant designated ‘KLECN23088’ was selected in autumn 2020 in Stuttgart, Germany. In the autumn 2021 ‘KLECN23088’ was first vegetatively propagated by vegetative terminal cuttings in Stuttgart, Germany. ‘KLECN23088’ was found to reproduce true to type in successive generations of asexual propagation via vegetative cuttings.

The following are the most outstanding and distinguishing characteristics of this new variety when grown under normal horticultural practices in Stuttgart, Germany.

The following detailed descriptions set forth the distinctive characteristics of ‘KLECN23088’. The data which define these characteristics were collected in Stuttgart Germany in May 2025 on 10-week-old plants. References are to The R.H.S. Colour Chart of The Royal Horticultural Society of London (R.H.S.), 5edition (2007).

‘KLECN23088’ is a distinct variety ofand is distinguished from its parents as described in Table 1.

‘KLECN23088’ is most similar to the commercialvariety Campala® ‘Nina’ (patent status unknown). Differences between the varieties are described in Table 2.
