Detailed Description

Complete technical specification and implementation details from the patent document.

Botanical designation:X

Cultivar denomination: ‘DOPETSURYE 25’.

A European Community Plant Breeder's Rights application for the instant plant was filed by the Applicant/Assignee, Dummen Group B.V. of De Lier, The Netherlands on Oct. 11, 2024, application number 2024/2368 and published on Dec. 15, 2024. Foreign priority is not claimed to this application.

A Chinese Plant Breeder's Rights application for the instant plant was filed by the Applicant/Assignee, Dummen Group B.V. of De Lier, The Netherlands on Mar. 11, 2025, application number 20251002667. Foreign priority is not claimed to this application.

The present invention relates to a new and distinct cultivar ofplant, botanically known asXand hereinafter referred to by the name ‘Dopetsurye 25’.

The newplant is a product of a planned breeding program conducted by the Inventor in Rheinberg, Germany. The objective of the breeding program is to create new compact, freely branching and early-floweringplants with numerous attractive flowers.

The newplant originated from a cross-pollination made by the Inventor in July, 2022 in Rheinberg, Germany of a proprietary selection ofXidentified as code number TT22-K0658, not patented, as the female, or seed, parent with a proprietary selection ofXidentified as code number TT22-K0259, not patented, as the male, or pollen, parent. The newplant was discovered and selected by the Inventor as a single flowering plant from within the progeny of the stated cross-pollination in a controlled greenhouse environment in Rheinberg, Germany in April, 2023.

Asexual reproduction of the newplant by terminal vegetative cuttings in a controlled greenhouse environment in Rheinberg, Germany since April, 2023 has shown that the unique features of this newplant are stable and reproduced true to type in successive generations.

Plants of the newhave not been observed under all possible combinations of environmental conditions and cultural practices. The phenotype may vary somewhat with variations in environmental conditions such as temperature and light intensity without, however, any variance in genotype.

The following traits have been repeatedly observed and are determined to be the unique characteristics of ‘Dopetsurye 25’. These characteristics in combination distinguish ‘Dopetsurye 25’ as a new and distinctplant:

Plants of the newcan be compared to plants of the female parent selection. In side-by-side comparisons, plants of the newdiffer primarily from plants of the female parent selection in the following characteristics:

Plants of the newcan be compared to plants of the male parent selection. In side-by-side comparisons, plants of the newdiffer primarily from plants of the male parent selection in the following characteristics:

Plants of the newcan be compared to plants ofX‘Go!Tunia Hello Yellow’, not patented. In side-by-side comparisons, plants of the newand ‘Go!Tunia Hello Yellow’ differ primarily in the following characteristics:

The aforementioned photographs and following observations, measurements and values describe plants grown during the spring and summer in 22-cm containers in a glass-covered greenhouse in Rheinberg, Germany and under cultural practices typical of commercialproduction. During the production of the plants, day and night temperatures averaged 18° C. and light levels averaged 4,500 lux. Plants were twelve weeks old when the photographs were taken and 25 weeks old when the description was taken. In the following description, color references are made to The Royal Horticultural Society Colour Chart, Fifth Edition, except where general terms of ordinary dictionary significance are used.
